Thanks for the visit!

We loved having you visit us in Florida, Mom and Dad! It's too bad that you couldn't stay any longer, and I know that you definitely weren't in any rush to get back to the "real world," which includes jobs, bills, and doctor's visits. But, hopefully you took some fond memories along with you, and at least you can look forward to getting through the next phases of treatment and moving one step closer towards surgery and recovery. I know it's been tough so far, and won't get any easier in the near future, but soon enough I am sure things will improve. You continue to have the love and support of family and friends, including us Florida Franzes (and Polsteins, Tapkens, and Piccirillos).

Among the "highlights" of the trip:

* An off-off-off-Broadway production (okay, so it was a kindergarten performance of "The Wizard of Oz")!
* Five-star gourmet cuisine (well, Lauren's cooking may qualify, but my barbecuing skills are debatable)!
* Luxurious accomodations (just don't hold the lack of a swimming pool against us...or the teeny-tiny television with a mind of its own)!
* Pristine, relaxing beaches (if you don't count the seaweed and manatee grass floating throughout the water and washing ashore, or the storm-force winds preventing the Diamondhead from renting out umbrellas...sorry for the sunburns)!
* Fabulous, competitive entertainment (I still think "ruler" is an acceptable "term of measurement"...Scattegories is officially under protest)!

Seriously, we had a great time visiting with you, and hopefully you had the fun, relaxing vacation that you so greatly deserved. Now you can look forward to your next Florida visit in October! I can't wait to see you again soon!

Love you both! Stay strong and positive!
Brian

We had a WONDERFUL time with you all in Florida this trip!!! Your house is extremely nice and well suited to you both.

I enjoyed reading your version of our "highlights" and I think you got it all. However, you left out your bowling streak. It's not often that you can pull a 123 with the "high rollers" that Tyler and I are!

We look forward to enjoying more of your Broadway productions, gourmet cuisine, luxurious accomodations, relaxing beaches and competitive entertainment when we come down in October! We'll even take variations on any or all of the them! ;-)

Thank you for all you and Lauren did to make our stay so memorable.

Oh, before I forget (I know I still need to work on my Brain Academy), which are the Tapkens and Piccirillos?

Love to you all,
Mom

Stacey, Kris and family are the Tapkens. Nanny is a Piccirillo, as are Uncle Gene and Aunt Maureen (even though you didn't get to see them this visit).
