Inching closer to CR Day!

Well, we now know that Razzle Dazzle will take a cherry pie for the 10th anniversary! I don't think he knew what to expect when I asked him. It DID put a smile on his face though!

He wasn't what we expected. He's rather unassuming and, if we can go by today, likes to wear bow ties (pink and black print tie with a pink shirt)! I couldn't help but chuckle under my breath when I first saw him as he did not look like the type of individual that would need the full spotlight on himself. So, if nicknames are for "wannabe" characters, maybe Razzle Dazzle is a good fit!

Tomorrow is surgery #1 - the mediport. This will be put in under the skin under the left collar bone area. They will use it to draw blood for testing Chuck's white count and the pump that will dispense the chemo drugs. They will flush it with saline and use a blood thinner for clotting every Friday as we won't have the chemo pumping over the week ends.

I think I will need to invest in a medic alert necklace/bracelet as the port needs to stay in for 2 years. I know that the literature has a card for Chuck's wallet and when we fly special notice will have to be made - just in case. So, the alert will just be another way of informing those that may need to know should anything happen. Question: should I add some bling to it? I'm taking suggestions!
