No looking back now!

We are officially and actively on the road to recovery and victory (unlike the White Sox or Cubs today)!

Chuck did beautifully in surgery today. The Count was very happy with the results and wants to see him in 2 weeks. That will be the time the butterfly bandages can come off (the main one and gauze will come off in 4 days). Now he's on medications that we will have to remember to mention when asked: Coumadin (blood thinner so he doesn't develop blood clots) and darvocet (pain management) or Tylenol if the pain is minimal and he doesn't need the "hard stuff".

All I can say is THANK GOODNESS FOR THE BINDER or I'd NEVER remember everything! Let everyone think that I'm so organized. I do it so I won't forget due to my senior moments!!!

Chuck will be posting his own entries - soon he tells me - which will be better than my meger ramblings. Then everyone will be able to hear it from the horse's mouth. It's been a long and stressful day and I can't even think of something more witty than horse's mouth! Anyone out there with a better phrase that I could have used???

Well, you could have introduced him as "the man, the myth, the legend...heeeerrrre's CHUCK!" But you decided to call him a horse instead. Nice, Mom.
