after about a week of waiting, the pathology report results are in:
stage of cancer: stage 3C
lymph nodes affected: 14 out of 23
the doctor gave the results to my mom over the phone rather late in the evening, so they'll probably go into more detail, and determine what their plans are for his post-op chemo treatment in the morning when the doctor comes in to check on him.
the good news is that the margins are CLEAN, so he is on the path to recovery!
